Here are two quick pictures from the North American International Auto Show in Detroit Michigan. These, like the rest of the pictures here in the blog, are two quick samples of the many photos that I took that day.

It is better to give than receive.

I had the pleasure to photograph a toy giveaway Christmas Eve this year. The Red Cross on Coldwater Rd. in Mt Morris Michigan, had a truck load of toys to give away. The toys were donated by one anonymous donor and Red Cross volunteers spent Christmas Eve giving away the toys.

It is difficult for me to separate myself from the subjects I photograph. I was moved by the hundreds of people who endured the blistering cold for a new Christmas toy. We take for granted so many things. These people may not have had Ipods under their tree and were thrilled to receive a new toy for Christmas. The Red Cross planned on giving away two toys per person but because there was such a huge turnout they could only give away one toy.
